Kourtney Kardashian ‘casually’ pushing out babies inspires pregnant woman

A fearful soon-to-be-mother is sending out gratitude to reality star Kourtney Kardashian for showing the world that giving birth isn’t necessarily an agonizing experience. The 42-year-old reality star, fresh from celebrating daughter Penelope’s ninth birthday, is also a mom to sons Mason and Reign, with the fan shouting Kourtney out likely referring to her famous birthing video as she welcomed Mason in December 2009.

Kourtney, whose pregnancies were documented on the concluded series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, had made headlines for a pretty easy-going birth with Mason, shared with 38-year-old Scott Disick. The Poosh founder actually pulled out her own baby in a birthing video, with a Reddit thread this week dedicated to the throwback footage.

“So I’m pregnant for the first time and I was terrified of giving birth until I recently rewatched Kourtney just casually push a few times and then pull two different babies out of her own body,” the fan wrote, adding: “So thanks Kourt.”

Kourtney’s delivery of Mason, aired on Season 4 of KUWTK, came with her calling the experience “indescribable and life-changing.” She couldn’t believe that Mason was “all mine.”

Fans have been replying. “Kourtney was 100% my inspiration for being chill when I started having contractions,” one user replied. Reminiscing, another added: “I watched that episode for the first time about 2 months after having my first… to say I was jealous would be an understatement. I, sadly, did not share her experience.”

They grow up fast

The double baby reference seemingly gave a nod to the fact that Kourtney actually pulled out two babies, doing the exact same thing she did with Mason with Penelope.

“Kourtney just loves to pull out her own children,” sister Khloe Kardashian had joked.

Fast-forward a fair few years, and Kourtney’s brood is growing up fast. Mason is now 11 years old, with 2014-born Reign now six. Kourtney and Scott are no more as a couple, but they continue to co-parent, and it’s been busy headlines this year as both are dating new people. Scott has raised eyebrows for his romance with 20-year-old model Amelia Gray Hamlin, who was 19 when she began dating him.

Kourtney, meanwhile, continues to front media outlets for loving it up with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. The two recently hit up Disneyland for the Fourth of July.
