Angela Simmons’ latex pants split in ‘lubrication’ accident

Angela Simmons is learning from her mistakes. The 33-year-old reality star and entrepreneur injected a good dose of humor into her Monday Instagram share, posting for her 7 million followers and reminding them that skin-tight fabrics come with a risk.

Angela, who was pulling a bit of a Kim Kardashian Paris outfit in her deep brown and tighter-than-skin latex, posed indoors and with a mean gaze, but her “note to self” proved light-hearted – in a nutshell, lubricating latex shouldn’t be overdone.

See the photo below. Angela had posed back to the camera and highlighting the rear that Growing Up Hip-Hop co-star Bow Wow last year joked had “set off” his car alarm. The VH1 face, showing off her “Built not Bought” body, stunned in the chocolate-colored and strappy bodysuit, one shown off in a follow-up “front shot” post after Angela made her oops confession.

Also wearing high heels and a chunky diamond necklace, the Simmons Beauty founder took to her caption, writing:

"“Note 📝 self : Don’t over lubricate latex👀 10 minutes later… those pants 👖 are a wrap 😂 🍑 ripped them 😩 #XBnB.”"

Meanwhile, it was “Brown Sugar” in the front-view snap, one that racked up half the 100,000+ likes garnered by the accident snap. Anyone eyeing up the “BnB” in the caption might want to learn about “Built not Bought,” a phrase first employed by Angela in 2019 as she launched her female-empowerment Purpose App.

The star is now using BnB as her brand name – earlier this year, Angela announced the launch of Built not Bought by Angela, a wellness brand.

Angela continues to promote BnB on her Instagram with posts chopping up her Fashion Nova influencer ones, plus promos for her popular and May 2020-launched Simmons Beauty. Earlier this month and while posing in black gym wear, the mom of one told fans:

The latest brings screen news for Simmons, though. The star has landed her own Just Angela reality series, one set to offer a behind-the-scenes look at her life as a celebrity, businesswoman, and mother.

“It’s kind of like a diary. You know, like, I’m going back and forth with you guys and just telling you different things that you probably don’t know,” she told Black Enterprise.
