Kim Kardashian just revealed a very high-profile celebrity face partnering up with her 2019-founded SKIMS shapewear and clothing line. The 40-year-old reality star and mogul, who tends to either model the merch herself or use unknown individuals, made it A-Lister stuff as she updated for her 235 million Instagram followers on Monday. Kim has chosen a woman seven years her senior to promote SKIMS, also explaining some of her sightings during a recent Rome, Italy trip.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had shared high-profile hang-outs with the Calvin Klein face as the two were seen thick as thieves in Rome – all was explained as Brit Kate was today plastered all over Kim’s Instagram in sizzling underwear photos.
Kim’s post, which comes as her KKW Beauty brand temporarily shuts down to rebrand itself, showed Kate in a studio setting and posing in pared-down, stringy and matching black undies. Kim took to her caption “introducing Kate Moss for @SKIMS,” telling fans:
"“I first met @katemossagency in 2014 through Ricardo Tisci, and was instantly struck by her cheeky humor, authentic and classic beauty – we’ve been friends ever since!”"
“She is THE fashion icon, defining a whole generation of style and I am honored to feature her as the new face of SKIMS this Summer!” Kim added.
Meanwhile, on the SKIMS Instagram, an account followed by 2.9 million, a photo of Kate in the Classic Rib Plunge Bralette switched things up. Kim, herself a promo face for brands including luxury Italian designer Fendi and footwear brand Skechers, is known for strategic business moves. She’s used formerly-incarcerated Alice Marie-Johnson in SKIMS promos, back when AMJ’s high-profile clemency made headlines thanks to Kim swooping in.
Today’s post quickly garnered a like from singer Bebe Rexha, who wrote: “Wow.” Meanwhile, Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey wrote: “Insane.”
SKIMS has not employed an official celebrity spokesperson up until now. The brand has, however, been working across celebrity Instagram for low-key influencing gigs, as seen from the likes of 30-year-old rapper Iggy Azalea and sister to Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn. The popular apparel also boasts a celebrity cult following: Bravo face Lisa Rinna and model Ashley Graham are huge fans.
