Kelly Ripa delights with pool surprise on Live!

Kelly Ripa is getting fans talking with a surprise pool getup. The 50-year-old talk show host today thrilled Live! With Kelly and Ryan viewers, taking a major step away from her usual floaty dresses or pencil skirts and rocking both a flared denim look and bringing in a pool accessory.

On Thursday, America’s most-watched morning show got former sitcom star Kelly and 46-year-old co-host Ryan Seacrest making quite the entrance – of course, the syndicated series’ Instagram was quick to share the footage.

Kelly, who made 2020 headlines for posing fully clothed from a pool and with her family as the Ripa/Consuelos clan fronted People, was seen confidently sashaying across the set just ahead of airtime – the video bringing new announcer Deja Vu and her DJ decks also featured a pumped-up Ryan air-punching, with Kelly seen strutting her stuff as she brought out a floatie.

Kelly, channeling the ’90s trend, looked sensational in high-waisted flared jeans, also rocking a chic printed blouse and her usual stiletto finish. Stealing the show, though, was the massive shark mouth floatie Kelly was carrying, and she was parading the whole thing with major sass.

While the crew applauded its co-hosts, a caption told fans to “tune in now for a floatie fashion show.”

It doesn’t matter if it’s Depop-friendly jeans or Yves Saint Laurent. Whatever mom of three Kelly wears gets fans wanting to hit “shop,” and that was evident by the fan comments quickly left. “Those jeans!” one user replied. “Blouse please?” another asked. A third even tagged the former All My Children star as they asked: “Brand of jeans please please please?”

Kelly’s outfits used to get featured pretty regularly via the #KellysFashionFinder on the series’ social media. Less-so these days, so fans might just have to poke around and guess. Kelly is, however, known to be a giant fan of hip label Ganni, enough for Hello! to have collated shippable looks that can get any fan looking like the bubbly blonde.

Kelly’s recent headlines have been less about the style, though. Earlier this month, and while celebrating 24-year-old son Michael’s college graduation, family vacation photos featuring Kelly had fans assuming the star only has one foot. Kelly, who spotted the buzz, clapped back saying that her feet were crossed, even calling her Instagram followers “weirdos.”
