Bella Hadid shows some skin in visible ovaries pants
Bella Hadid is setting a new trend, one immediately causing a spike in cut-out clothing searches on popular apparel site Lyst. The 24-year-old supermodel and Dior Beauty face made headlines galore for her appearances at Paris Fashion Week this month – seemingly, not only for her runway looks.
Instead of channeling the ’90s trends now sweeping Depop and Poshmark, Bella shouted out the late 2000s in a skin-showing ensemble, one quickly seeing Refinery29 call “visible ovaries.” Bella hit up the French capital in a black lace camisole, but it’s her pants that are causing a hoopla.
Bella Hadid sparks new cut-out trend
Hopping right on a trend already shouted out by 40-year-old reality star Kim Kardashian this month – the KKW Beauty founder was all hips don’t lie in her cut-out white Rome look – Bella was seen in flared leggings, ones boasting notable cut-out hip panels. The result is women rushing to type “pelvic” and “hip” into Lyst – per Refinery29, searches for the terms have shot up 23% and 19% respectively.

Bella, who was seen masked as she kept COVID-safe, had accessorized her look with a Fendi baguette bag and pointed-toe shoes. The catwalk queen, currently also making headlines for new boyfriend Marc Kalman, then revisited the cut-out look via a bold pink Jacquemus crop top that was barely-there and paired with low-rise cargo pants. The French brand, now Kardashian-approved, is also a firm favorite with the likes of Fenty founder Rihanna.
Fans were quick to dub Bella and her hip-baring “iconic.” The daughter to Yolanda Hadid, followed by 44.2 million on Instagram, shouted out Jacquemus after walking for the label, writing: “‘jacquemus I adore you! Your brain, your heart, your talent. You are one of a kind!” as she shared catwalk footage.
“Loooove” quickly came in from sister and new mom Gigi Hadid.
Last year, the supermodel sister duo jointly made headlines as each interviewed the other for an Elle feature. Bella, whose public appearances had largely been put on hold due to the global pandemic, told Reebok face Gigi that she hoped to get back to things safely and when the time is right.
“I’ve had a lot of time to reflect during my quarantine, and I’m really eager to get back to work and make art again. Moving into the next season, I hope we can find a proactive way to move forward in a safe, healthy way,” she said.
