Kim Kardashian is taking it way back to 2008 with blazing-hot bikini shots that nobody’s forgotten. The 40-year-old reality star and makeup mogul was in full throwback mode for her 236 million Instagram followers on Monday, posting two desert shots that flew the flag for swimwear, Daisy Dukes and cowboy boots – fans of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star have now showered her with upwards of 3.3 million likes. See why below.

Kim Kardashian takes it back to the old school

Scroll for the photos. Kim opened lying on her back all hips don’t lie and in a stringy black bikini top, one the KKW Beauty founder had paired with minuscule Daisy Dukes, plus dusty and reddish-brown heeled boots. Plonked amid desert roads and with nobody in sight, the E! star threw off her cowboy hat, returning all Jessica Simpson-style in unbuttoned shorts as she walked towards the camera with a swipe right.

Kim, who knows how to break the internet and made the phrase her own with her iconic Paper cover back in 2014, merely wrote: “2008” for her caption, adding a fun cowboy emoji.

“Baddie that gets better” quickly came in from sister Khloe Kardashian’s BFF Malika Haqq. Meanwhile, former assistant Stephanie Shepherd wrote: “KIM!!!!” with three fire emojis.

Kim’s swimwear displays have been coming steadily throughout July, as she continues to make headlines for her February 2021 divorce from 44-year-old estranged husband Kanye West. Four days ago, the mom of four posed lakeside while soaking up the sun in a bikini, making headlines as she shouted out legendary country singer Dolly Parton and wrote:

"“Don’t get too busy making a living that you forget to work on making a life- Dolly Parton. Friendly reminder to always take a little time for yourself”"

Kim is now once again flexing her entrepreneur muscles, as the summer 2020 announcement that KKW Beauty will be temporarily shutting down brings talk over a potential new name. Fans, who had assumed Kim was dropping the “W” from KKW Beauty, are now chewing over the latest trademarks filed by Kim: “SKKN” hints at the potential name of a skincare brand, one the star does not yet have amid her ever-growing portfolio.

“SKKN” would play on the KK that forms Kim’s initials. They would also form letters very much void of the West name that Kim has carried since wedding “Ye” rapper Kanye in 2014.
