Kourtney Kardashian gets a new hairdo courtesy of boyfriend Travis Barker

It usually takes a lot to trust someone to cut your hair, but as Kourtney Kardashian, 42, proved it on Thursday, she has full confidence in her 45-year-old Blink 182 drummer boyfriend, Travis Barker, to do a good job.

The 42-year-old mom of three – to Mason, 11, Penelope, nine, and Reign, six – shocked her Instagram followers when she uploaded a snapshot to her Story on Thursday which showed a considerable length of hair from her famous dark locks on the floor, with “haircut by [Travis Barker]” floating just above it. Much like her famous Kardashian-Jenner sisters, Kourtney Kardashian – who she recently sparked engagement rumors – is no stranger to changing up her look on the regular, but when it comes to her hair, the Poosh founder has been a bit more reserved over the years, unlike sisters Kim who bleached her dark hair only recently, or Kylie who’s pretty much dyed her hair every color under the rainbow.

So this big haircut is definitely a major change-up considering Kourtney said good-bye to what looks like most, if not all, her ponytail. Although Kourtney still hasn’t uploaded a pic, yet, of her new do, we’re very eager for the debut and we’re sure it’s going to be killer!

After all, Travis Barker previously proved he’s a hair wizard when he braided Kourtney Kardashian’s long locks, so he might very well have pulled something truly special out the bag, but worst-case scenario we’re sure Kourt could borrow a wig or two from one of her famous wig-loving sisters.

The last time Kourtney debuted a much shorter do was in April, when she enjoyed some sunshine and “bread” on a friends Yacht, in a sparkly tan bikini. The shoulder-length hair definitely suited the Poosh founder and gave her a punk rock vibe which she’s been cultivating since starting her relationship with Travis Barker.
