Kim Kardashian post major throwback as she celebrates cousin Cici’s cancer recovery

Lately, Kim Kardashian, who’s currently going through a major revamp of her makeup brand, has been posting some serious throwback snaps; first, for her grandma, Mary Jane ‘MJ’ Campbell’s 87th birthday on Thursday, July 26, – the SKIMS founder shared with her dedicated 250 million Instagram followers a series of pictures ranging from the early ’80s to present day – then the following day, the 40-year-old mom of four – to North, eight, Saint, five, Chi, three and Psalm, two – wowed fans as she shared a couple of throwback snaps of her in a bikini from 2001. But it seems like she wasn’t done there, as when it came to sharing her delight with her fans, at her “cousin”, Cici Bussey’s news that she’s officially “cancer-free” after “decades” of battling the deadly disease.

The KKW Beauty founder – who’s just received a cease-and-desist letter from a rival beauty brand – kept in theme to recent days and decided to post another throwback snap!

Although Cici Bussey isn’t an official Kardashian –  however, she is part of the family tree, given that she was Robert Kardashian’s first cousin –  that didn’t make a difference as Kim Kardashian made sure to let her followers know just how truly special Cici is to her with a touching “appreciation post” where she calls her cousin “strong” and “amazing” while remarking how “proud” she is.

“I love you, Cici,” she wrote beside the pic.

Kim Kardashian revealed in her post that the picture was taken while she was on a trip to Mexico with her cousin Cici and mom, Kris Jenner, 65. In the pic, Kris and Cici can be seen relaxing next to each other in matching white dresses and matching golden tans, while Kim perched on the arm of her mom’s chair. Although she didn’t reveal as to when exactly the trip took place, from Kim’s stylish get-up, a bejewelled open collar shirt, we’re guessing it’s from the late 2000s – can you imagine Kim Kardashian being caught dead wearing that now? I don’t think so!
