Kim Kardashian reportedly wants ‘more communication’ with Kanye West amid their divorce

Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce process was said to be an amicable one with both parties being cooperative and fair about what they both wanted from one another as a newly separated couple. It should’ve been an easy process, however, tensions are clearly rising during this new stage in the celebrities’ lives despite the two working so hard to avoid conflict in the first place.

Initially, West refrained from fighting with Kardashian on any of her requirements, reportedly allowing her to demand whatever she wanted to. Kardashian, too, respected her ex-husband’s requests and had no issue giving the American musician joint custody of their kids. Unfortunately, this copacetic energy seems to have disappeared completely because Kanye West reportedly isn’t holding up his end of the effort.

Where do Kim Kardashian and Kanye West stand amid their divorce?

Hollywood Life reports that Kim Kardashian wants more communication from Kanye West after he apparently constantly gives his ex-wife, and the rest of her family, the cold shoulder. It’s widely known that West has always been a man of very few words and very many spur-of-the-moment decisions, but reportedly Kardashian is becoming increasingly agitated by his hesitation to work on their relationship that involves their four young children’s feelings as well.

According to an insider, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is doing her best to be in his place so that the kids don’t take notice of their father’s constant absence. The insider stated:

"Kim wants more communication and family unity and plans with Kanye. She wishes it wasn’t like this and it was more often. […] She knows he’s a bit unpredictable like that and that devastates her but she does the best she can for the sake of the children. She absolutely will continue to show up for him though."

The SKIMS founder’s frustration is certainly warranted as it was said that Kanye West has only seen his kids a few times this year, and with the upcoming launch of his highly-acclaimed new album, there is a possibility that his absence would be even more prolonged.

The rapper living in the Mercedes Benz Stadium at the moment definitely doesn’t help his case at all and it looks like Kardashian is working overtime to make up for where her ex-husband lacks. Ultimately, there’s a chance that Kim Kardashian may rethink her cooperation should Kanye West continue to be irksome to work with.

Hopefully, things work out for everyone involved as it would be devastating to see these two return to the silent treatment.
