Proud mom Meghan Markle displays photos of Lilibet Diana in video with Melissa McCarthy
Meghan Markle turned 40-year-old on August 4, and to celebrate the Duchess of Sussex shared a hilarious video alongside Hollywood pal Melissa McCarthy, 50, to promote her new project “40×40”, and while Meghan and Melissa chit-chatted, eagle-eyed fans were thrilled to spot that the proud mom had displayed a bunch of photos of her newborn Lilibet Diana, and her two-year-old son Archie Harrison, on her desk.
On Wednesday, Meghan Markle took to her charity page the Archwell Foundation – which she started up with her husband, Prince Harry early last year, following their sudden departure from the Royal Family – and posted a hilarious video starring Bridesmaids‘ actress Melissa McCarthy to mark her 40th birthday.
In the video, the pair debated getting matching tattoos, discussed a Suits reunion and poked fun at royal etiquette, but for many, the highlight of the video was the unexpected reveal of Lilibet Diana.

Despite Meghan Markle and Prince Harry not releasing official photographs of their daughter Lilibet Diana, the Duchess of Sussex may have unintentionally revealed to fans the first proper look at her daughter since her birth on June 4, in the two-minute clip.
While sitting at a desk chatting with the 50-year-old comedian and actress, proud mom Meghan Markle displayed four photos in front of her, and eagle-eyed fans are convinced they’ve spotted Lilibet Diana among them.
“I like to think that on the three photos joined, the one in the middle is a photo of Harry holding Lili,” one fan commented on social media.
While another fan helpfully annotated the photos, “Looks like photo 1 is Archie, 2 Meghan and Harry, 3 Harry holding Lili about to give her a kiss and 4 Meg or Doris holding Archie.”
Meghan Markle used her milestone birthday to announce her new project – 40×40 – which involves “40 activists, athletes, artists and world leaders who Meghan has asked to contribute 40 minutes of their time to support women re-entering the workforce”.
“Because I’m turning 40 I’m asking 40 friends to donate 40 minutes of their time to help mentor a woman who’s mobilising back into the workforce,” Meghan told Melissa McCarthy in the clip while urging her to also get involved.
