When the news of Kylie Jenner expecting her second child with Travis Scott hit the atmosphere, it’s safe to say that everyone was losing their minds. For months, many have been theorizing about whether or not the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was actually pregnant once again. From analyzing her birthday nails to closing in on the fact that she ate fish-less sushi, the clues were all evidently clear and it was only a matter of time before we got some official confirmation that she was, in fact, expecting baby number two.

While it may have been a joyous day for fans, many still couldn’t help but wonder if this news being announced from someone other than the two celebs upset the expecting parents. After all, neither Kylie Jenner nor Travis Scott has yet to confirm or deny any of the recent news, which is certainly becoming a cause of concern because Kylie may have initially had plans to announce her pregnancy at a certain upcoming special event.

The answer to this question is a big, uncertain… maybe. Apparently, many fans believe that Kylie was planning to announce her pregnancy at the upcoming Met Gala, which is scheduled for Monday, September 13. Cosmopolitan gathered multiple Twitter posts of various theorists who believe the Kylie Swim founder’s plans may have been foiled by the likes of TMZ and Page Six, ruining what could have been an epic surprise.

While another theorist tweeted that the celeb was going to pull out all the stops to make her baby news the talk of the town in September.

Though we don’t know for sure if Kylie Jenner had these grand Met Gala baby bump plans in place, it is widely known that gossip sites such as TMZ tend to break news much sooner than most celebrities would want them to. But then again, being that there are no official photos of a pregnant Kylie, the celeb still has a major opportunity to surprise the world with her baby bump if she has one.

Hopefully, Kylie does decide to stop the world once more, but we’ll have to wait until next month when the 2021 Met Gala takes place to know for sure.
