So recently, Kourtney Kardashian, 42, went through a hair transformation when she cut her famous long dark locks to above her shoulders, and she’s been looking extra spicy ever since! The mom of three revealed recently that she and her boyfriend, Travis Barker, 45, were forced into a 10-day-quarantine, after coming into contact with someone who had tested positive for the coronavirus, and during that time the lifestyle site boss let her man loose on her hair with scissors, which admittedly, is what most likely, led Kourtney to the hair salon straight after. But now that she’s out and about rocking her new do, how does the reality star maintain her look? Find out below!
How does Kourtney Kardashian take care of shorter hair?
Ever since she’s debuted her much shorter hairdo, Kourtney Kardashian revealed, via Poosh, that she’s had to change up her haircare routine to keep her hair feeling soft and shiny. After all, with great hair, comes great responsibility! 😉
The 42-year-old reality star stated that since getting a chop her hair is “much easier to maintain,” and given how short it is we’re not surprised! We doubt it needs much and it seems that Kourtney Kardashian agreed, as she further revealed that she “barely even brushes” her hair anymore instead preferring the more rumpled and natural style you get after washing.
Although the Poosh founder did credit the easy hair maintenance to two very specific products, the”Fragrance-Free” shampoo and conditioner, by Seen, which are described as having the benefit of replacing “hidden irritants with a fresh balance for beautiful hair and healthy skin”.
Although it seems it’s not all fun and games, according to the fun Poosh article, the lifestyle site owner now has to wash her hair daily – which could lead to dry and damaged roots as a result, according to Healthline – as she’s now noticed that with the novelty of her new hair, she’s touching it more often, making it look and feel more greasy than it actually is.
Though we’re sure once the novelty wears off she’ll be touching it less and it will inevitably look and feel less greasy.
