Kylie Jenner shocks fans by confirming she’s not attending the Met Gala

In a plot twist no one saw coming, Kylie Jenner has just confirmed she will not be attending the Met Gala this evening, Sept. 13, 2021.

The reality star has been known in recent years to go all out for the prestigious event and her fans were convinced she’d be going this year again. Especially given the fact that Kylie has been making appearances during New York Fashion Week, we all assumed she was getting ready to end her trip with the Met Gala.

While Kylie did not confirm why she won’t be attending the big event tonight, she took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news with her fans. Reposting old photos from the event featuring her sister Kendall Jenner and baby daddy Travis Scott, the makeup mogul concluded her series of photos on her Instagram Story with: “I’m so sad I couldn’t make it this year [white heart emojis]. i can’t wait to see all the looks [white heart emojis].”

Because Kylie, Kendall, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian have all been in New York, it just seemed obvious they’d all be going to the Met Gala as a group. Kendall even walked the runway at a Michael Kors show on Friday, Sept. 10 and Kourtney presented at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, Sept. 12.

Fans are all confused about why Kylie won’t be going to the event and are hoping everything’s okay. Everyone was really excited to see what she’d be wearing, especially because she just confirmed her pregnancy and has been showing off her baby bump in public.

After months of speculation, the 24-year-old entrepreneur revealed she’s expecting her second child with Travis, posting a heartfelt video to her Instagram to share the good news. Unlike her first pregnancy, Kylie has been very open in showing off her cute bump and fans hope she’ll reveal the sex of her baby soon.
