Kanye West reportedly buys luxury apartment in Belgium amid Kim Kardashian divorce

He’s continuing to keep busy! Kanye West is reportedly taking up property in another country, as insiders claim the rapper recently bought a luxury apartment, or a “bachelor pad,” in Belgium.

The Sun reports that the 44-year-old musician was seen in a suburb outside of Antwerp, Belgium, and his new neighbor can attest to it. A man named Peter Hoste claimed he didn’t know who Kanye was, speaking to the publication and claiming that the “Come to Life” rapper thought it was “funny” that he did not recognize him.

Kanye himself has not confirmed the report he’s gone international, however he very seldom responds to headlines about what he’s up to. Although we don’t know for sure if this is true, it’s not unlike the entrepreneur to relocate to work on music or other projects.

In 2019, Kanye bought two ranches out in Wyoming while he and Kim Kardashian were still together. While the reality star claimed to have loved the place, she didn’t seem too keen on moving from Calabasas, California to the rural state.

Now that Kim and Kanye are in the middle of their divorce, it looks like the rapper doesn’t have to worry about what his estranged wife thinks and he could, hypothetically, move across the country to pursue creative or business ventures. Especially right now, when it appears the two parents are not in the best place.

As we previously reported, Kanye recently unfollowed Kim on Instagram, and fans wonder if the Donda drama had anything to do with this decision. In case you missed it, in Kanye’s song “Hurricane,” he seemingly admitted to cheating on Kim, though he hasn’t confirmed whether or not this is actually true.

It’s tough to tell what’s going on between Kim and Kanye right now, but we know they are still divorcing. We’ll be curious to see if Kanye begins posting photos from Belgium, and whether or not that affects his time with his and Kim’s four children.
