Khloe Kardashian finally responds to rumors she’s banned from the Met Gala

Earlier this month, it was reported that Kourtney Kardashian withheld from attending this year’s Met Gala in support of her younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, who was allegedly devastated about not being invited to the renowned event once again.

This gossip was backed by the fact that Khloe, coincidentally, took to her Instagram Story to post rather cryptic statements on the day of the Met Gala and many assumed that she was taking a jab at the event’s overseer, Anna Wintour, for not inviting her. Rumors even came about that Wintour regarded the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star as a C-lister and banned her from the event.

However, it seems that we may have gotten it all wrong and Khloe Kardashian just made sure to clear the air.

Khloe Kardashian denies being banned from the Met Gala

Yahoo! reports that Khloe broke her Twitter hiatus and spoke about the many allegations flying around regarding whether or not she has been exiled from every and any Met Gala.

The media outlet reported that a fan asked Khloe to inform the world if the rumors were true and stated that she would, no doubt, come to her defense if Anna Wintour did in fact ban her from the Met Gala. In response, Khloe stated on her Twitter: “Absolutely NOT true.”

By the sound of it, Khloe is not leaving any room for interpretation by denying the claims, and for the most part, her fans are accepting this tweet as the truth. Even still, there are doubts lingering mostly due to the fact that Khloe did not explain why she hasn’t attended Met Galas in the past despite her sisters going multiple times.

Some believe that, while Khloe isn’t exactly “banned” from the event, Anna Wintour does hold off on inviting her to the Met Gala for her own personal reasons. This can be supported by the fact that Kourtney Kardashian was seemingly in the same boat, having not attended previously, but was allegedly invited this year. Perhaps Khloe Kardashian has to get on Anna Wintour’s good side to finally secure that invite.

On the other hand, some believe that Khloe is actually banned and is choosing to deny it.

It looks like we’ll have to wait until next year’s Met Gala to know if Khloe Kardashian’s denial holds up, but until then, we’ll just take her word for it.
