Nick Cannon opens up on Kim Kardashian relationship: ‘She broke my heart’

Unfortunately, it looks like Kim Kardashian is not going to live down the recent gossip surrounding her past sex tape anytime soon.

Just last month, Wack 100 (Ray J’s former manager) claimed that there was a second tape kept secret by the Keeping up With the Kardashians star and her ex-boyfriend, Ray J. While Kardashian’s attorney shot down these rumors profusely, it seems this wasn’t able to stop other individuals from stepping up to talk about the infamous tape such as Nick Cannon–a person who recently stated that the video had detrimental effects on him and his heart.

Nick Cannon claims Kim Kardashian ‘broke [his] heart’

According to Yahoo!, Cannon’s heart was broken in the beginning stages of his relationship with Kardashian because of the fact that she lied about the sex tape being made with Ray J when he initially asked her.

Finding out the hard way that her denials weren’t true, Cannon realized that he really liked her and felt betrayed. He reflected on this experience in an interview on The Howard Stern Show, explaining:

"I was really into her, I was vibing. We were on some serious s**t. […] She broke my heart. Then, it started being these rumours going around that it was this tape. When I asked her about it, she denied it."

Cannon and Kardashian briefly dated between the years 2006 and 2007 after having, most likely, met through mutual friends and hanging out around the same social circles. The two remained pretty good friends after the breakup with Cannon, at the time, gushing about how the SKIMS founder was one of the “nicest people you will ever meet.” However, it seems that those sentiments have been recently retracted.

At the moment, it is rather unclear why Cannon decided to bring his relationship with Kim Kardashian up even though 14 years have passed since their split, however, we’re assuming that it may have something to do with Wack 100’s rumor about a second sex tape.

Kim Kardashian has yet to respond to these recent comments from Nick Cannon about their past relationship nor the allegation of another tape, but once or if she does, we will be sure to let you know.
