Kim Kardashian wins $60 million Hidden Hills home in Kanye West divorce
By Diana Nosa
In February of this year, Kim Kardashian officially filed for divorce from her partner Kanye West after about seven years of marriage. The news certainly came as a shock to fans as many wished for the two to stay together forever, however, they just couldn’t find their footing or get on the same page. This is why they ultimately decided to call it off for good.
Flash forward several months from then and the pair’s relationship has grown slightly stronger with better communication and more quality time from Kanye. In addition to this, the two have supported one another in their respective endeavors such as Kim Kardashian’s most recent Saturday Night Live gig as well as West’s Donda release.
Because of the seemingly positive progression of their relationship, fans of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were convinced that the two might be calling off the divorce and would rekindle their relationship. Unfortunately, this doesn’t appear to be the case as the separation of property in their divorce has officially begun.
Kim Kardashian wins big in Kanye West divorce
According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian has secured the $60 million Hidden Hills home that was previously owned by her and her soon-to-be ex-husband ever since 2014.
As we know, West was responsible for the majority of the house’s design. From the furniture to the color scheme to even the architectural build of the home, everything was chosen by his hand.
In giving up his prized possession, it’s safe to assume that West is still keeping the promise that he reportedly made earlier this year: Not fighting with his ex-wife about anything concerning the divorce.
In addition to giving up the $60 million home, Kanye West has also put his $11 million Wyoming Ranch on the market and has gone forward in purchasing a $57 million home in Malibu, which we assume, was done to be closer to the four children that he and Kim Kardashian share.
By the sound of it, the divorce is still moving forward and both parties are still aiming for it to be an amicable one with what’s best for the kids being the first priority.
Hopefully, the divvying up of assets and property will not tarnish the positive progress Kanye West and Kim Kardashian made this year.
