The Daily Mail reports that yesterday evening, Travis Barker got down on one knee in the beautiful sands of Montecito, California to propose to his soulmate Kourtney Kardashian with a ring fit for a queen.

The publication claims that the ring must’ve cost Barker $1 million, citing an engagement ring specialist named Max Stone.

The ring, which is oval-shaped and is held up by a silver band, is reported to have a total of eight carats and is of the “highest quality,” which certainly explains why it was nothing short of an extravagant purchase.

Here’s what Stone said about the ring:

"“In true Kardashian style, Kourtney’s ring is a real showstopper. The huge oval diamond is a VS2 grade, which is of the highest quality. From looking at the photographs posted on Instagram it looks to be around eight carats. The huge stone is set on a thin pave band for extra sparkle. The simplicity of the setting extenuates the size of the stone, making it look even larger. With this in mind, it is most likely worth around $1 million. This is definitely one of this year’s most incredible celebrity engagement rings.”"

In addition to dropping around $1 million of the prized jewel, Travis Barker also arranged a dinner to celebrate his union with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. In attendance were plenty of family and friends, including but not limited to Simon Huck, Corey Gamble, Tristan Thompson, Travis Barker’s children, and, of course, all of Kourtney Kardashian’s sisters.

Guests couldn’t help but notice the joy radiating on the newly-engaged Kardashian’s face, and one took the liberty of telling E! News all about the perfect moment that was sealed perfectly with a perfect ring.

"Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart. It looked very romantic. I could see Kourtney smiling from ear to ear and put her hand over her mouth looking surprised. The family cheered for them and went back into the hotel."
