Scott Disick is ‘distancing himself’ from the Kardashians as he tries to get over Kourtney

We officially have a new update on how Scott Disick is faring after hearing the news that his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian is now engaged to her partner Travis Barker, and it’s not looking too good.

Earlier this week, we did get word that Disick was, in fact, going through the motions and was “feeling really low” when he truly processed what this huge news meant for both himself and his ex-girlfriend. And now it seems that his sadness has only grown larger and he is truly having an exceptionally hard time looking any Kardashian in the eye.

Is Scott Disick still friends with the Kardashians?

According to People Magazine, the Flip it Like Disick star “distancing himself” from the Kardashian family. Disick is not upset at any of the Kardashians, however, not even Kourtney, but rather he simply needs time to understand the engagement’s effects on his life and how he’ll be able to deal with everything that will soon come after once Barker and Kardashian are wedded.

“At first, it seemed like it was just a casual relationship to him, […] thinking that eventually, they’d break up,” a source told People Magazine. “But that didn’t happen and now he’s being forced to deal with it, which is uncomfortable. He knows he has to lean into the discomfort and get past it.”

The source also says that in distancing himself, Scott Disick is “making his peace” with the heartwrenching fact that Kourtney Kardashian was the one that got away.

As we know, the two dated on and off multiple times after initially getting together in 2006. Though the relationship may have had its highs and its lows, at the end of the day, Disick and Kardashian would always find their way back to one another.

Now, everything has drastically changed and Kourtney, most likely, won’t be seeing Scott on a personal level outside of anything having to do with the three children that they share; an aspect he’ll have to eventually deal with, too.

Despite him being extremely heartbroken by the news, we know that Scott Disick can and will bounce back once he processes everything he needs to. We wish him nothing but the best and can’t wait to see him happy again.
