Despite their current divorce process, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have seemed to find a cordial way of moving forward without jeopardizing their co-parenting situation nor their friendship.

Weeks ago, West was Kardashian’s number one fan while she prepared for her first time hosting Saturday Night Live and reportedly even attended rehearsals with her to show his undying support.

Prior to this, West’s cheerleading skills could also be seen when he arranged for his estranged wife to work with Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia, the man responsible for Kardashian’s iconic 2021 Met Gala look. Gvasalia was also her plus one to the event.

With all these adoring actions and more in mind, West most certainly has been nothing but a support system for Kardashian lately and it’s no wonder why the reality star continues to have good things to say about her ex.

Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West friends?

Definitely. US Weekly reports that the SKIMS founder’s feelings of admiration for her soon-to-be ex-husband will never waver, as she told the Wall Street Journal:

"Kanye will always be the most inspirational person to me. He has a piece of Skims himself and gives [the team] inspiration but also information. I think he enjoys the process."

As we previously mentioned, this admiration stems from Kanye West‘s creative drive and his passion for aiding his ex-wife’s ventures in any way possible. It also goes without saying that Kim Kardashian is also extremely supportive of West and doesn’t care how it appears to naysayers.

“If other people think it’s strange, it’s OK, because Kim doesn’t,” an insider told US Weekly. “She thinks it’s cool, great for his art and their relationship and loves to show her kids how much she supports him.”

Her support for him can be seen countless times especially months ago when Kardashian showed up to West’s Donda listening party to recreate their wedding ceremony, all to support his creativity.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce may be nearing its finalization, but it’s clear that their friendship isn’t going anywhere, and this is nothing short of an inspiration to us.
