Are Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson actually dating?

In news absolutely no one saw coming, new rumors have popped up claiming Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are dating. It all began when the two stars were spotted out at Knott’s Scary Farm for Halloween weekend, and in one photo were caught holding hands.

Of course, the photo was shared all over the internet this past weekend, with fans questioning if Kim and Pete are really anything more than platonic. So what’s the truth?

Well, it’s important to note that the photo in question was taken while the two were on a rollercoaster, and their trip included other people. According to People Magazine, Kim and Pete were accompanied by Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker and other friends.

In the pic, which you can see below, Kim and Pete are seemingly screaming while on the ride, and so we’re assuming the hand-holding was strictly out of fear. A source spoke with People Magazine about the dating rumors, confirming the two are not starting up a romance.

The insider dished: “They hang in the same circles so they will be together from time to time. It’s just friends hanging out.”

As fans of Kim know, the reality star isn’t exactly the biggest rollercoaster fan. Back in 2012, she even tweeted out a photo of herself, Kendall Jenner and Kanye West all on-ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain, where Kim looked absolutely terrified. “Magic Mountain fun today!!! Kendall screaming, Kanye laughing & me crying!” she wrote, adding in another tweet, “I officially am afraid of heights now.”

We’re not sure why Kim decided to go on another ride this past weekend, but we know it was probably a scary experience for her!

As for her love life, Kim is currently still in the middle of her divorce from Kanye. And while both she and Pete are single right now, we really don’t suspect anything going on between them. Yes, they did share a kiss during a skit on Saturday Night Live last month, but that’s the most we’ll likely get out of these two.
