Shanna Moakler calls Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker ’embarrassing’ over Halloween costumes

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker definitely won Halloween 2021 with their costumes as Alabama and Clarence Worley from the 1993 film True Romance, which Barker has expressed is one of his favorite movies of all time.
Though the couple’s costume was met with tons of praise from fans and close friends of the celebrities, with many believing that their resemblance to the film’s characters was uncanny, there was one person who went against the grain and believed that this Halloween get-up wasn’t all that.

That’s right: Shanna Moakler, the second ex-wife of Travis Barker, has publically expressed her disdain towards this couple and their recent Halloween activities.
Cosmopolitan reports that Moakler finds Kravis’ True Romance costume “embarrassing” simply because the 1993 film was a film that both Barker and Moakler loved greatly while they were together. She took to Instagram comments to respond to those who also believe Barker is recycling the things that he and Moakler both adored in efforts to take a dig at her.
When a commenter stated, “Why are Kourtney and Travis so obsessed with you. They’re trying to piss you and Scott [Disick] off,” Moakler expressed, “The whole thing is embarrassing at this point.”
When another commenter stated, “Can I just say how completely odd I find it that Kravis is bonding over the movie True Romance when that was you and his thing when you were married,” Moakler wrote, “It’s like an episode of Punk’d.”
Though most of the commenters seemed to be on Shanna Moakler’s side, one did believe that Moakler had no reason to be upset since True Romance is Travis Barker’s favorite film, so much so, that he personally named his first daughter, Alabama Luella Barker, after the film’s female protagonist.
“It was HIS favorite movie and HE named their daughter. K, bye,” the individual said. But Moakler adamantly set the record straight by stating, “I’m pretty sure WE named my daughter.”
Whether True Romance is Barker’s favorite film or whether it’s Moakler’s, one thing can’t be denied: The 1993 movie is now a Kravis staple which means there will be plenty more costumes like this to follow.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have yet to comment on Shanna Moakler’s statements, but once or if either of them does, we will definitely update you on the latest news.
