Rob Kardashian turns down role in Kardashian family’s new Hulu show

Filming for the unnamed new Kardashian show commenced a few months ago.

In the midst of filming, we have been given small updates on what’s going on behind the scenes including what big moments will be filmed as well as who will be a regular in the new series.

Though currently going through a rough patch with Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick was confirmed to appear in the series after he was paid an undisclosed lump sum of cash. Naturally, this came as good news for fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK) as Disick was always integral for the series.

However, another person who was a key figure in the series, especially in the beginning, is said to not be as willing to show his life on camera again.

Will Rob Kardashian be in the new Kardashian Hulu show?

Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that Rob Kardashian will sit out for the upcoming Kardashian show set to premiere on Hulu.

Hollywood Life reports that one of his several reasons has to do with his daughter as his journey in fatherhood (and the privacy of it) is extremely important to him. An insider told the media outlet:

"Rob will NOT be appearing in their Hulu show because he does not want his life or the life of his daughter [Dream] to be a part of it. Everyone respects this decision."

The source continued to say that Rob Kardashian filming for KUWTK left brought out immense feelings of ‘pain and hardships’, especially after his struggles with health and legal battles with his ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna were largely publicized leading him to face scrutiny on all fronts.

In addition to the not-so-pretty parts of his private life being exposed, his relationships with his elder sister Kim Kardashian as well as his relationships with his close friends such as Lamar Odom, according to the Hollywood Life source, have suffered greatly because of the 2007 reality series.

All in all, returning to the series just isn’t the best call for the 34-year-old celebrity.

Rob Kardashian’s decision to step away from the series may come as a bummer for fans but they can rest assured in knowing that this celebrity is still working to become his best self off-screen as he has several business opportunities all lined up for 2022 and as he is still becoming the best father that he can be for his baby girl, Dream.
