Kourtney Kardashian responds to mom-shamers saying she’s ‘finally’ with her kids

Kourtney Kardashian, like her sisters, is no stranger to backlash on the internet. With as many followers on Instagram as she has (150 million, to be exact), there’s bound to be some hateful comments here and there.

And ever since Kourtney began dating Travis Barker, she’s gotten a lot of criticism when it comes to how much time she spends with her children.

No one besides Kourtney and her family truly knows how much time she spends with her three kids — Mason, Penelope and Reign — but that hasn’t stopped angry commenters from weighing in with their opinions.

According to BuzzFeed, the 42-year-old received a particularly judgmental comment after she shared a series of photos from her recent vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The beautiful shots show her riding horseback with kids Reign and Penelope on the beach. Mason was not included in the post.

One person decided to add in their two cents when writing, “oh wow you’re with your kids finally????” To that, Kourtney brought the hater back to reality with one simple response. “I’m with my kids every day thank God, social media isn’t always real life,” she wrote. And she’s absolutely right!

Kourtney and Travis got engaged just last month, so of course, a lot of her social media posts are about her new fiancé. She’s clearly excited about her relationship, and if she’s sharing more photos with Travis than her kids, why does that matter? She can spend time with her children without posting it to Instagram.

One commenter put it perfectly when they wrote on Kourtney’s post:

"“The fact that she’s stopped frequently posting her kids and people assume she’s never with them. She’s doesn’t have to post them. People are just strange.”"

This is hardly the first time Kourtney has had to clap back at haters and it certainly won’t be the last. Fortunately, it seems she’s a pro at handling social media criticism and understands Instagram isn’t a real depiction of someone’s life.
