Over the weekend, Twitter became a battleground for Larsa Pippen and Kim Kardashian as it seemed as though the latter celeb took below-the-belt jabs at her former friend.

It all started when Kardashian was feeling her glam a few days ago and took to her Twitter to share a selfie, exuding her allure and confidence along with a caption that read, “They can steal your recipe but the sauce won’t taste the same.” (See the tweet here.)

Some simply appreciated the selfie for what it was, hyping up the gorgeous reality star’s pink look in the replies. Conversely, many others also believed that this was her way of throwing shade to Larsa Pippen who has been called out numerous times before for copying Kim Kardashian’s look and her whole flow.

Was the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star hurling insults? We tell you everything to know below.

Kim Kardashian denies subtweeting Larsa Pippen

According to Yahoo! News, Kardashian was not, in fact, being shady and took to Twitter to clear the rumors that she wasn’t being a good sport towards her former friend.

After a fan tweeted, “If this is the shade she [Kardashian] was throwing, I’m all here for the pettiness,” in response, Kim Kardashian tweeted: “No shade throwing, I don’t do subs. I want everyone to win. I just had a good caption LOL.”

By her response, it seems that this online tension was created out of thin air, and though this is most realistically the case, some fans are still standing by what they initially believed — seeing the selfie’s caption as shady, being that Kardashian still doesn’t appear to be on good terms with Pippen. I mean, she has yet to re-follow her on her various social media platforms.

In addition to not following her on Instagram, the timing of the alleged subtweet was a tad suspicious due to the trailer for Real Housewives of Miami dropping earlier last week. In the season 4 trailer, Larsa Pippen’s co-star Adriana de Moura can be seen calling Pippen out for her subconscious desires of trying to become a Kardashian. De Moura stated:

"You left this group of women, come back with a butt as big as Kim Kardashian’s, trying to become the new Kim Kardashian, which you’re never going to be."

It’s fairly possible that Kim Kardashian may have seen the trailer, but it’s just as possible that she didn’t and was simply just sharing a selfie with the world. Either way, it seems that it’s no hair off of Larsa Pippen’s back as she has yet to reply to any of the alleged shade — for now.
