Last week, reports came out that a woman by the name of Maralee Nichols was claiming that Tristan Thompson was the father of her recently-born son.

Though Thompson reportedly admitted to having sex with Nichols, he has yet to confirm or deny the claim that he’s the father of her baby. Despite us not seeing a paternity test nor knowing for sure what the truth is, it looks as though the NBA player is getting frustrated with Nichols. At least, that’s what alleged text messages say.

How does Tristan Thompson feel about the baby mama rumors?

Well, he’s definitely not too happy.

According to Page Six, the basketball athlete is growing increasingly angry over the situation and took to his phone to, allegedly, send Maralee Nichols a text message that read:

"You know how I feel. My feelings haven’t changed at all. Wont be involved at all. Btw if you think having this baby is gonna make you some money. It’s completely wrong."

Thompson reportedly believes that this is Nichols’ plan of scheming him out of some money. As a result, he took action and filed a complaint, which he believed would assist in lowering the amount Nichols is asking for.

Later in the alleged message, Thompson expressed:

"You are aware that I’m retiring after this season. So in terms of support it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who’s unemployed. It’s Texas so it will be only a couple hundred dollars. So you better off taking this 75k I’m offering ’cause you won’t get nothing near that with having a kid with a father who’s unemployed."

In addition to him filing in Texas, as stated above, Thompson would also save money by filing for unemployment in the soon-coming year, if he does actually retire. However, both of his claims about how he wouldn’t have to pay much child support have yet to be confirmed by law.

The alleged texts seemed to have ended here, but the message has been heard loud and clear: Tristan Thompson, whether he is the baby’s father or not, currently has no plans to be involved in the child’s life or the mother’s other than offering her $75,000 to raise the child.

Naturally, there are a lot of uncertainties in this current situation, and tensions are flying high. Now that the baby has been born and the paternity test can be conducted, it’s safe to say that this is only just the beginning of a long battle for Tristan Thompson and maybe even his ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian.
