With Kim Kardashian and Kanye West still going through with their divorce despite West’s pleas for his estranged wife to reconsider, it’s only natural that Kimye fans feel a tad slighted about the fact that their favorite couple isn’t heading towards the endgame they wanted.

But what happens when these feelings go a bit too overboard?

BuzzFeed News reports that whilst on a date with her new boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson, a fan hurled a rather insensitive comment towards the reality star. They stated, “Yo, Kim, Kanye’s way better, I’m not even gonna hold you.”

As seen in the video, Kardashian continued about her day, not responding to the random individual with an even more random comment. But just because Kim Kardashian didn’t take offense to it, doesn’t mean that her fans didn’t have a thing or two to say about it.

How Kim Kardashian fans feel about Pete Davidson backlash

Underneath the video, fans quickly came to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s aide to adamantly state that such a comment shouldn’t be said to anyone no matter who they are.

“Yikes. That seems a little rude. That ‘fan’ doesn’t really have a say so about her dating life., an individual replied, while another agreed by commenting, “What has the world come to that [people] think it’s ok to tell a random stranger that their ex-partner is better. You don’t know them?!”

Others pointed out how this person saying such a rude thing is rooted in misogyny as these types of comments wouldn’t be hurled towards Kanye West if it was the other way around.

“This is not the girlboss moment they think it is,” one commenter stated. “It’s just plain rude and mean to say that to her face.”

It’s clear that the majority of the comments are not putting up for this type of troll behavior as it is not only highly inappropriate but also erases the fact that Pete is reportedly making Kim the happiest she’s been in a long time. So happy, that she allegedly has plans to properly introduce her new boyfriend to her loved ones at her mother Kris Jenner’s Christmas party.

There’s no mistaking it, Kim Kardashian is absolutely over-the-moon for Pete Davidson. And though people are entitled to their own opinion, at the end of the day, her being with whoever makes her happiest is completely her decision.
