Kanye West and Vinetria reportedly split: Details here!

After less than two months of dating, Kanye West and 22-year-old model Vinetria have reportedly called it quits.

Some attribute the breakup to the upcoming holiday season while some believe that the relationship was doomed to the start. What’s the true reason as to why the couple ended their relationship? We tell you everything we know so far below.

Why did Kanye West and Vinetria break up?

According to Style Caster, the couple split not too long after Kanye West received a Christmas invitation from his estranged wife Kim Kardashian.

Though Kardashian’s intentions are purely platonic as she is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson and simply wanted to ensure that West was present for the kids, it seems as though this harmless action put too much strain on Kanye West’s relationship with Vinetria. This reportedly caused him to not only break up from the model but also unfollow her from Instagram.

Despite being the final straw, the invitation served only as a catalyst to the sudden split as West has constantly made his intentions of getting back with Kim Kardashian unmistakably clear in the most recent months.

During the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert, Kanye West cried out to Kardashian in his song “Runaway” which included an altered lyric that stated, “I need you to run right back to me, more specifically, Kimberly.” And his declarations of love don’t stop there as, prior to the concert, West said him and Kim weren’t getting a divorce during his Drink Champs interview, expressing:

"SNL making my wife say, “I divorced him” on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off and I ain’t never even seen the papers. We’re not even divorced–that ain’t no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together."

Both the benefit concert and the interview were conducted around the same time it was officially reported that Kanye West and Vinetria were going steady, which lets us know that West never really planned for this relationship to be longterm from the get-go. It might have only happened in a possible attempt to cope with his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

All in all, this split came just in time for Kris Jenner’s Christmas celebration where Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Pete Davidson could all be in attendance. Will West be taken seriously now that he’s single and only wants his lady back? Only time will tell.
