Tragedy comes this holiday season as 55-year-old celebrity business manager Angela Kukawski was found dead on Dec. 23, 2021.

As reported by People Magazine, Kukawski (also known as Angela Castro) was reported missing just one day before on Dec. 22 in the Sherman Oaks, California area. Police found her body in her car in Simi Valley, and soon her boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of murder. The boyfriend, Jason Barker, has since been charged for torture and premeditated murder by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

Reportedly, law enforcement believes Barker murdered Kukawski in the California home they shared before moving her body to her car and driving her to Simi Valley. Variety reports that Barker is now in jail on a $3.07 million bail, and is expected to appear in court on Jan. 12, 2022.
