How Kim Kardashian is doing amid Kanye West drama and divorce

After weeks of endless jabs from Kanye West, it seems that the dust is finally starting to settle, much to Kim Kardashian‘s delight.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star endured plenty of direct comments about her from her estranged husband, most of which were either unprovoked digs at her boyfriend Pete Davidson or untrue statements spread about her parenting skills.

Unfortunately, the comments only got worse as the days went on, prompting Kardashian to head to Instagram to address the situation with this statement, below:

"Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create. […] Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all. From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way."

Shortly after this and being told that he was, in fact, harassing his estranged wife publicly, Kanye West took down his Instagram posts and, for the time being, seemed to have withheld from ever taking digs at the reality star. However, it’s possible the pain he caused still lingers.

How does Kim Kardashian feel about Kanye West now?

People reports Kim Kardashian has “grown a lot” following all the Kanye West drama and is now focusing on what it is that makes her happy.

“Kim is trying to figure out who Kim is right now. She’s grown a lot since the split,” a source revealed to the media outlet. “She realizes she can be her own person without him and she’s moved on.”

Additionally, the source reports that, instead of looking backward, wondering if she made the right decision to divorce from Kanye West, the Skims founder is looking forward, accepting that things wouldn’t work out no matter what she did.

“She was trying really, really hard to make it work. Kim thinks Kanye took too long to try to work things out for their family and eventually she had enough and started dating and moved on,” the source continued. “She doesn’t necessarily want more kids but she wants a happy and loving home.”

And a loving home is, of course, what we hope Kim Kardashian receives very soon.
