When the Regency-era romance show Bridgerton premiered on December 25, 2020, it became Netflix’s most popular debut show and started breaking streaming records left and right. Now the second season, which is about to start on March 25, will be based on the eldest Bridgerton son, Anthony, as he tries to find a viscountess. Of course, fans know that the show is based on the book series by historical romance writer Julia Quinn, but now they can dive back into the best twists and turns in the latest guidebook based on the novels.

Whether you’ve read Quinn’s books a thousand times over or haven’t cracked open a cover yet, The Wit and Wisdom of Bridgerton: Lady Whistledown’s Official Guide is an excellent addition to any fan’s bookshelves. This latest tome is the notorious society paper scribbler’s guidebook to essential characters from the books like the Bridgerton family, Kate Sheffield (whose last name will now be Sharma in season two), Penelope Featherington, and Lady Danbury.
