During the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian revealed that Kanye West walked out during her Saturday Night Live monologue back in October 2021.

During his interview with Drink Champs last year, West ranted about how he didn’t appreciate the fact that the comedy sketch show made her say that she already divorced even though he allegedly never saw the divorce papers.

SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ because they just wanted to get that bar off,” West said at the time. “And I ain’t never even seen the papers, we’re not even divorced.”

Even still, fans were shocked to know that the joke angered him so much especially because, for the most part, he was fairly supportive of Kardashian’s time on Saturday Night Live both on and off stage. What’s more, it was assumed the musician wouldn’t think much of her jokes because it was evident Kardashian was simply jesting and didn’t mean any harm by it. However, we couldn’t be any further from the truth.

Kanye West angry at Kim Kardashian for Saturday Night Live monologue

People Magazine reports Kanye West was so angry that Kim Kardashian didn’t properly communicate what he wanted her to say that he walked out in the middle of her Saturday Night Live opener.

“He is upset at the fact that I said the reason I divorced him — used the word ‘divorced’,” Kim Kardashian stated on the Hulu original series. “So he wished I said the word ‘filed’ for divorce.”

In addition to this, the musician wasn’t too fond of the SKIMS founder referring to him as a “rapper” as he believes he is “so much more than a rapper.”

Though Kardashian did bring up her ex-husband during a time when things were a tad rocky between the two, she believes that this simply wasn’t enough to warrant West’s anger.

“It was to make a joke. I made fun of myself. I made fun of my mom. I made fun of everything that is personal to me,” Kim Kardashian expressed. “And it’s is all fun and games — and apparently, it wasn’t to him.”
