Here’s why Rob Kardashian wasn’t at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding guest list has garnered a great deal of curiosity lately.

Some fans are still confused as to why Caitlyn Jenner wasn’t invited to the Italian matrimony, while other fans wonder whether Scott Disick will ever publicly speak about how he really feels about his ex-partner marrying another. Above all, however, are the many fans who want to know why Rob Kardashian, the only brother of the Kardashian sisters, didn’t attend his eldest sister’s special day. Fortunately, we have a little insight.

Why didn’t Rob Kardashian attend Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding?

E! News reports that Rob Kardashian didn’t go to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding because he isn’t ready to return to the public eye just yet.

“Rob didn’t feel comfortable attending Kourtney’s wedding because he doesn’t like a spectacle,” an insider expressed. “It’s just not his thing, and he’s become an extremely private person.”

Needless to say, Kourtney didn’t take this personally, mainly because she knows she still has the support and adoration of Rob no matter what, but also because this isn’t his first time being open about his struggles with mental health and how it affects him to the point of not wanting to attend events where all eyes may be on him.

“I was doing my suit fittings in Paris right before the wedding and I just wasn’t comfortable,” Rob expressed when revealing why he didn’t attend Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding in 2014. “There were cameras at the airport on our trip there and I was very unhappy with the person I saw in all the pictures. I’m upset I missed my sister’s wedding, but it was a personal decision.”

Rob is also fairly private on his social media. Seldom does the former reality star post any pictures or posts of anyone but his daughter, Dream Kardashian, which is why fans haven’t seen any congratulatory posts from him and most likely won’t anytime soon.
