Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait a little while longer to learn Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s son’s name, as the couple is still in the process of figuring out what name they want to give to their newborn.

According to Elle, Jenner took to The Late Late Show with James Corden to express that the name “Wolf” wasn’t a perfect fit for her baby, hence why she and her partner are still in the process of changing the name. Even so, currently, her son’s legal name is Wolf for the time being.

“We haven’t officially legally changed the name. His name is still Wolf,” Jenner expressed to the talk show host. “His passport’s Wolf, but that isn’t gonna be his name. We’re just waiting.”

In the event that Jenner and Scott do settle on a name, fans are wondering whether they’ll be in the know. Here’s what we think.

When will Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott announce their son’s name?

Unlike when Stormi Webster, four, was born, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott aren’t yet ready to proceed with announcing the name of their baby, much less introducing the child to the world. We do not know why the celebrities are taking their time to answer fans’ burning questions. However, we assume it may have something to do with Jenner’s surprising post-pregnancy process the second time around.

In The Kardashians’ second season trailer, Jenner can be seen opening up about her struggles with postpartum depression.

“I should be really happy right now. I just had this new baby,” the 25-year-old stated. “But I cried nonstop for like three weeks.”

Along with her comment, the Kylie Cosmetics founder also appears to not behave like she normally does. Her sister, Kendall Jenner, notes that the makeup mogul flaked on events at the last minute and often argues with her sister over various misunderstandings. All this and more gives us a peek into the overwhelmed mind of Kylie Jenner, and brings to the spotlight the many difficulties she may be facing as a new mother of two.

In addition to her apparent bout of postpartum depression, Jenner and Scott may be withholding the name out of the respect they have for their kids’ emotions and privacy.

Earlier this year, Jenner spoke about her decision to refrain from basking in the attention now that she’s much older and wiser. Now, according to her Instagram, the celebrity prefers to keep a tight lip.

“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” Jenner wrote in February 2022. “My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”

Perhaps the time when Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are ready to announce their son’s name is on the horizon. Perhaps not. In any case, we respect their privacy and we’ll be the first to report when the couple is ready to share their son’s name with the world.
