Why Kim Kardashian doesn’t want to date right now, despite being chased after

Nothing is going to stand in the way of Kim Kardashian and her career and her family–especially a man.

Entertainment Tonight reports that the reality star discussed the current status of her romantic life. Though she is the object of everyone’s desire, Kardashian expressed that she’s not currently in the process of looking for love, as she wants to focus primarily on the things that she holds dear.

“I’m not looking for anything,” Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa on Live With Kelly and Ryan. “I think I just really need to be by myself and focus and finish school and my kids.”

She also revealed that suitors have “reached out” since sharing what she wants in a man next, however, she was quick to add, “I’m just not ready.”

In addition to launching a skincare line, a new fashion collection, and strutting on the runway for Dolce & Gabanna, Kardashian recently co-founded a private equity firm with businessman Jay Sammons, which could be the reason why her hands are so tied. Add that with taking care of four kids and it’s no surprise why this celebrity has little to no time for romance.

But will things remain this way forever?

While she is solely focused on her career and family, Kardashian says that she’s not completely opposed to jumping back into the dating pool. Her only condition for entertaining her romantic options, however, is that it’s completely low-key and definitely not set up through a dating app.

“I think it [the date] would have to be something set up at a friend’s house, something really chill, nowhere out in public,” Kardashian notes.

Fortunately for the celebrity, her preferred selection of men–“scientist, neuroscientist, biochemist, doctor, attorney“–are all typically far too busy with their demanding careers to give the paparazzi attention. And, with having such a time-consuming profession, Kardashian’s ideal type would be all the more understanding of her busy schedule, so it’s safe to say that whatever scientist or lawyer scoops up this bachelorette may be her match made in heaven.

It’s only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian finds her ideal man and goes on her ideal date. But for now, she seems to be enjoying life as a single woman with four kids and a super successful career.
