In season 1 of The KardashiansKourtney Kardashian shared with fans that she and her now-husband, Travis Barker, were conceiving a baby via IVF (in-vitro fertilization). The celebrity was fairly optimistic about the process. That is until she realized the procedure gave her a few adverse side effects similar to menopause. Because of this, she and Barker decided it was best to put a pause on IVF for now.

Flash forward to season 2 of The Kardashians, and it seems that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are still in the same place that they were in the previous season, leaving fans to wonder whether the married couple has given up on their baby-making journey or if they may have found a different way to expand their family.

Are Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker still trying for a baby?

People Magazine confirms that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are definitely still trying to have another baby. However, the couple revealed that they’ve switched up their method while they await results from their medical team.

When asked about how things are progressing with their baby-making journey, Kardashian stated, “We don’t know. We haven’t gotten an answer yet.” She later added, “After eight months of our IVF journey, we took a break and wanted to try things naturally.”

Though things appeared to be at a standstill, Kardashian shared a major update that could bring very good fortune in the soon-coming months.

“The doctors had told us that we still have some really good-looking follicles and that it was the best they’ve seen,” the 43-year-old celebrity shared. “Everyone involved, including our natural doctors, felt we should give it one more shot with an IVF retrieval. And so we did one final egg retrieval and we are just waiting on the genetic testing results, but it has made it to an embryo.”

From the sound of things, the couple may, indeed, have a new baby on the way much sooner than we think. But of course, both the pair and fans must have some patience to find out whether the genetic testing (or trying to have a baby naturally) was successful or not.

We wish Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker all the best in their baby-making plans.
