Why Scott Disick ‘will always have regrets’ about Kourtney Kardashian

It’s been a while since fans have heard any updates from Scott Disick. But it’s not because the entrepreneur isn’t booked and busy like most celebrities; it’s because Disick is using this time to reflect on his life. Specifically, how he wound up not being married to the love of his life, Kourtney Kardashian.

Yahoo! News reports that Disick still hasn’t gotten over his romance with Kardashian, and is finding it particularly difficult to accept that she’s now the wife of someone else. Though it’s a hard pill to swallow, he knows that he truly only has himself to blame for his current reality.

“Scott will always have regrets about how he treated Kourtney and handled their relationship,” an insider revealed to the media outlet. “He is focusing on moving on, accepting his faults, and trying to learn from his mistakes.”

As for Scott Disick’s relationship with Kourtney Kardashian and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenners, it’s safe to say that his work on himself is beginning to pay off slowly but surely.

Scott Disick not appearing in the sophomore season of The Kardashians prompted many to believe that he and the family can no longer stand to be near one another. After all, the show practically had to beg for the Flip It Like Disick star to appear in the first season, so it’s easy to assume that things have gone south. But this couldn’t be any farther from the truth.

“The Kardashians still talk to him almost all the time and they see each other relatively frequently,” the insider added. “It isn’t a toxic situation for anyone in the family and they’ve moved past any difficulties.”

The family wants the best for Disick and his love life. However, he’ll have to desire that for himself first, as his previous relationships with the likes of Sofia Richie and Amelia Hamlin have ended prematurely reportedly because of his hesitance to settle down.

“He [Disick] wants to get married one day and start his next chapter,” the insider continued. “But he isn’t trying to do that right now.”

No matter if Scott Disick ties the knot or not, we’re glad that he’s doing everything that he can to be the best version of himself he can be. And for that, we wish him nothing but the best on his healing journey.
