Kim Kardashian called out for questionable outfit choice at Paris Hilton’s Christmas party

Between spearheading numerous successful businesses and always keeping it classy regardless of who comes for her, Kim Kardashian is known for many things. But none of these positive aspects hold a flame to the fact that this Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is an extraordinary fashionista. However, it seems fans have managed to catch Kardashian on a day when she wasn’t too concerned about dressing to the nines.

Page Six reports that fans are calling out Kim Kardashian for underdressing at Paris Hilton’s Christmas party. Whereas every other guest (including her mother, Kris Jenner) was dressed elegantly for the holiday party, the American reality star saw it fit to dress in very casual garb.

As expected, fans rushed to the comments to give Kardashian an ear-full.

“Why Kim always dress like that now?” one fan expressed. “All the clothes in her closet and she looks like she got done shopping at Ross or TJMaxx? All she wears now is crop tops, leggings and spandex. I’m gonna be so happy when this trend of wearing workout gear for actual outfits is over with.”

Another wrote, “Everyone dressed all nice and Kim looks like a 15YO teen that was forced to her parents party.”

Needless to say, even celebrities have their off days. But could this fashion faux pas be indicative of a larger problem?

How Kim Kardashian feels about her style post-divorce

Kim Kardashian’s style is still somewhat of a soft spot for her, as she is still learning how to find what works for her. Doing so is proving to be difficult since her ex-husband, Kanye “Ye” West, was usually the one who picked out what she wore every day. Now that the two are no longer together, Kardashian is realizing that separating her aesthetic from her ex-husband’s is much easier said than done, especially since his fans are constantly setting her back a few paces.

“On the internet [people] destroyed me and were like, ‘This is what she gets not being with Kanye. Finally, one look she dresses herself and Kanye’s outfits must have run out,'” Kardashian expressed on The Kardashians in response to the blowback surrounding her ‘flame outfit’. “The tea is this was one of the outfits that he styled and picked out. So, if you guys knew that and if we were together, you guys would think it was the coolest outfit in the world. Everyone is so f**king fickle.”

Even still, if Kim Kardashian wants to return to her rightful throne as the celebrity everyone wants to dress like, she may have to return to her roots because all-black outfits and leather pants aren’t a trend many want to follow.
