Kim Kardashian will star in American Horror Story season 12
Kim Kardashian is adding “Horror Queen” to her lengthy resume. She has joined Emma Roberts for the twelfth season of American Horror Story. We have all the details of Kim’s new acting role, the sneak peek trailer, and what is to come for the FX horror anthology series.
The news of Kim being cast in a role “specifically made for her” was first released by The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, April 10th. AHS creator Ryan Murphy gave the outlet the following statement:
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” Murphy says. “Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role, especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
American Horror Story season 12, or AHS12, will be titled Delicate, based on the forthcoming book Delicate Condition by Diane Valentine. The plot is a twist on Rosemary’s Baby, where a pregnant woman is convinced someone sinister will end her pregnancy.
Kim dropped a teaser for American Horror Story season 12 on her Instagram on Monday, along with a blood drop and peeking eyes emojis.
While the SKIMS founder’s character is very much mum at this point, there have been guesses by fans. Some theorize that Kim will portray the villain, while others believe she’s the pregnant woman fighting off the villain. Either way, it’s very intriguing.
AHS12 is set to air on FX and Hulu this June.

AHS12 will be Kim’s first acting role in a decade. While she is most known for her E! reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, its numerous spinoffs, and Hulu’s The Kardashians, the KKW beauty founder has made appearances in 90210,Two Broke Girls, American Dad, Drop Dead Diva, and How I Met Your Mother. On the big screen, Kim lent her voice as Delores the Poodle in Paw Patrol: The Movie and will be returning to reprise the role in the sequel with her two eldest children, North and Saint later this summer.
In 2008, Kim headlined in Disaster Movie, with model-actress Carmen Electra, and although the film didn’t garner great reviews, the Kardashian Konfidential author said she had a lot of fun.
