Kim Kardashian had a meltdown moment on this week’s intense episode of The Kardashians. The SKIMs founder embraces her sister Khloé as she cries over her ex-husband, Kanye West. The reason is legitimate because the rapper made a series of antisemitic tweets, which shocked and hurt the Kardashian family.

For Kim especially, it left her physically and emotionally deprived.

I literally haven’t changed my outfit in two days,” she tells Khloé, sobbing. “I just have to get it together, and I just can’t.”

When Kim learned about Kanye’s rants, which exploded all over the media, her first thought was likely her kids and how much the man changed since their marriage. She hopes the Kanye she knew and loved is still within him and “will do anything to get that person back.”

It’s really confusing for me,” the mom of four said in her confessional. “It’s so different than the person I married because that’s who I loved, and that’s who I remember. I’ll do anything to get that person back. The whole situation is sad, and I don’t know how to emotionally manage it.

Following Kanye’s unacceptable behavior, Kim spoke on behalf of the Jewish community, stating that “terrible violence and hateful rhetoric toward them to come to an immediate end.”

Khloé emphasized with her sister by acknowledging that Kanye’s actions were no fault of Kim’s and had several “opportunities to retract,” but he didn’t. She then comforted Kim in her misery, and while the younger Kardashian felt “helpless” and “heartbroken,” she offered some words of strength.

It’s ok that you’re crying; it’s ok that you have feelings. You’re such a good person, and that’s why you feel like this, and your heart is breaking for him.”

The Good American founder said that it’s “gravely irresponsible” that Kanye has these antisemitic views, while her family thinks the complete opposite. It sheds a bad light on them as a whole, and Kim’s four children, if not protected, might think it’ll be okay to copy his inappropriate behavior, which is something that Kim wants to prevent.

Later in the episode, Kim is having some quality with her children, and regardless of the press Kanye circulates, she will always be in protective mode.

The Kardashians air every Thursday on Hulu.
