Kim Kardashian is a proud dog mama! The SKIMS founder showed off her adorable Pomeranian, Sushi, in an Instagram post on Sunday, July 23rd.

The fluffy, four-legged family member is dressed in a pink sweater, giving major Barbiecore vibes. The pup appears perched on Kim’s lap, her dark eyes gazing into Kim’s soul.

Cuteness overload.

Sushi,” the mom of four wrote for the caption, then added a Nigriri roll for effect.

Sushi, and Kourtney’s pomeranian, Honey, were adopted in 2017 and were featured in season 17 of Keeping Up With Kardashians. At the beginning of the home adjustment, Sushi had a barking problem, which Kim had a problem with.

Kim believed that Sushi would stop her behavior by swapping her with Kourtney’s fur baby, Honey, who had a more reserved personality. The idea didn’t sit well with the Poosh founder, who chased Kim around in the kitchen to retrieve Honey.

To help combat Sushi’s consistent barking, Kim called in the renowned Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan for advice. According to Cesar, the root of Sushi’s issue was a lack of obedience, structure, and [having] control of the house.

Once understood and the problems met with a resolution, Kim was happy with Cesar’s help and will continue to work on Sushi’s training.

It’s really exciting to know that Sushi’s issues are fixable,” Kim said after working with Cesar. “And she’s [just] a part of the family now, so we gotta work on it. ”

Recently, Sushi and her sister Saké (who came to the Kardashian family in 2019) were photographed with North West and Chilli Thomas of TLC after the latter discovered the ten-year-old and her friends dressed like the infamous 1990s girl group for Halloween.

The pups’ names were decorated on a gingerbread house for North for Christmas last year. Her mother showed off the black and white confection and her other kids’ (Saint, Chicago, and Psalm) sweet holiday homes. Each house was themed to each child’s liking, and gingerbread men were included.

Sushi was not the first of Kim Kardashian’s dogs

Sushi was not the first of (many) animals babied by Kim. During season four of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the KKW Beauty founder rescued a stray female chihuahua that she named “Princess.” With Princess, Kim learned how to love and care for a dog, despite her earlier discomforts.

Unfortunately, the tiny pup had multiple health issues and needed round-the-clock care. Even though it broke Kim’s heart that she couldn’t give Princess the care she needed due to her hectic schedule, she was happy that the vet’s assistant offered to adopt her.

If not for Kim, Princess would’ve not had a happy ending.
