Kourtney Kardashian leaves the hospital after medical scare

Kourtney Kardashian was rushed to the hospital last Friday, September 1st, but is now home with her family. The star, expecting a son with husband Travis Barker, feels better after the ordeal.

The reason for her hospital stay has not been disclosed, but she has since been discharged, and according to People, a source close to the Kardashian-Barker family revealed that “[Kardashian] is back home with her kids and is feeling better. She is happy that Travis is home, too.”

After hearing the news, the Blink-182 drummer flew home to his wife’s side, which caused his band to postpone the UK leg of their international tour. The punk band gave the fans the lowdown on why the shows had to be pushed back through an Instagram Story on Friday.

“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be available as soon as possible.”

Travis, for his part, uploaded a photo of a prayer room in his Stories, indicating his need for spiritual comfort during this difficult time. The drummer, who grew up Catholic, held on to his Christian values, which is rare today.

In June, Kourtney revealed her pregnancy at the LA Blink-182 show by paying tribute to the band’s 1999 music video, “All The Small Things.” She held a sign up that said, “TRAVIS[!] I‘M PREGNANT[!] and shared the video on social media. The couple then revealed the sex of their baby, a boy, at their gender reveal party the following week.

Kourtney kept the fans updated on her pregnancy journey all summer by sharing Instagram carousels and articles on her Poosh website on healthy pregnancy hacks and tips. In her last pregnancy carousel, the mom of soon-to-be-four wore a red-orange bikini as she embraced her growing belly.

She called her little miracle her “greatest blessing, honor, and joy.”
