Why Kourtney Kardashian didn’t go to Kim Kardashian’s birthday party
Kourtney Kardashian missed out on attending her sister Kim Kardashian’s 43rd birthday party this past Friday. Don’t worry. There’s no new feud between them, as Kim dropped the why on Kourtney’s absence.
Kim, who turned 43 on Saturday, had a big bash with family and friends the night before at the hit Beverly Hills restaurant, Funke. The SKIMS founder dressed in a red satin dress and enjoyed a cake designed as a Fortune magazine cover with her on the front as she made the “Fortune’s 500 List.”
Among the guests were her mom, Kris, sisters Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie, and friends, including Ivanka Trump and designer and model Kimora Lee Simmons.
On Sunday, Kim uploaded her fun time via Instagram at her party and said she was “so blessed to have hit the jackpot of friends.”
In the first snap, Kim is in the middle of her family, with Funke’s greenery as a natural backdrop. The only thing that would make the photo even better is to have Kourtney.
But there’s a good and acceptable reason why the oldest Kardashian forego the event.

Kim dropped the reason why her sister couldn’t make it to her bash, and that’s because Kourtney is currently on bed rest as she prepares for her baby’s arrival. Kim will join her in bed next weekend for a picnic to compensate for the loss, as mentioned in her IG caption.
“Kourt, I’m jumping in bed with you next week for our bed rest picnic!”
Kourtney didn’t forget Kim’s special day, as she shared some photos of the two as kids and a few Halloween snaps. Personally, I love the Polaroid of Kim and Kourtney in poodle skirts and monogrammed sweaters. You can’t get any more cuter than that.

Kourtney’s fourth pregnancy is undoubtedly one of God’s greatest blessings, but not without its challenges. Following her urgent fetal surgery in September, she gained a new appreciation for her baby, as she speaks to him daily.
So, it appears everything is a-ok with Kim and Kourtney.
