Did Kourtney Kardashian have her baby? What we know
Kourtney Kardashian is a new mom again, as multiple sources report that she had her baby, a boy, her first with Travis Barker, and her fourth child.
Honestly, we’re over the moon for Kourtney!
This wasn’t an easy pregnancy for her, as she had to take extra precautions and was admitted to the hospital in September to undergo urgent fetal surgery to save her son’s life. Travis was performing during the UK leg of blink-182’s world tour and rushed home to be at his wife’s side. At the end of the ordeal, Kourtney was grateful for her medical team, her family, and the fact that her son was still connected to her.
“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, with a black and white photo of her holding hands with Travis.
Kourtney first publicly announced her pregnancy during the summer at a blink-182 concert. Dressed in a dark teal body suit, she held a sign reading “TRAVIS! I’M PREGNANT!” The gesture was a nod to the band’s 1999 video, “All the Small Things,” and a great way to flash back those late 90’s/Y2K memories.
Shortly after, the couple threw their gender reveal party, surprising everyone they were having a boy with a blast of (environmentally safe) blue confetti and streamers. Then came the baby bump photos with a happy Kourtney about to welcome this new life into the world. It’s monumental because being a mother is a gift.
Kris Jenner, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie got in on the baby hype by planning and hosting a vintage Disney-themed shower, which was filled with tasty goodies, including Kourtney’s request, Mickey Mouse pretzels. At the shower, hints of the baby’s name could be spotted on a Wishing Tree message, leaving us wondering if Kourtney and Travis unintentionally revealed it.
Did Kourtney Kardashian have her baby?
The outlet TMZ was one of the first to report that Kourtney gave birth to her son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, in Los Angeles at Cedars-Senai Hospital on Friday or in the early hours of Saturday. Kylie Jenner was also there in support of her eldest sister.
On Halloween, Travis shared that his son’s due date will be on Halloween or during the first days of November. He also confirmed his baby’s name.
In the October 26th episode of The Kardashians, Kylie asked Kourtney at True’s birthday party if she was pregnant, but she quickly answered with a “No.”
Don’t worry, though, as the ongoing fourth season will drop Kourtney’s pregnancy news in future episodes.
Currently, neither Kourtney, Travis, nor their family has made statements regarding Rocky’s birth, but we suspect that a photo or two will be revealed sometime.
