Kim Kardashian sparkles in crystals at Swarovski NYC opening
Kim Kardashian is sparkling from head to toe in Swarovski crystals for the latter’s flagship store opening in New York City on Fifth Avenue. The night didn’t just honor the store’s opening but Kim’s collaboration with the Austrian company with her fashion line SKIMS.
On Tuesday, November 7th, Kim attended the store’s opening, wearing a two-piece ensemble crafted entirely in crystals. The top was a backless crop top while the bottom was a mini-skirt showcasing her lean legs. She completed the look with translucent heels and a chic 90s-styled updo. Underneath her skirt, Kim wore a pair of boxers with the SKIMS and Swarovski names written in tiny crystals across the waistband.
We’re not sure of the boxers, but the top looks gorgeous under the NYC lights and for some reason, reminds us of the holiday season.
Inside the store, new pieces from the Swarovski x SKIMS collaboration were on display and ready to dazzle up any wardrobe. The partnership was a long time in the making, and for Kim, it was a dream come true, for she loved its crystals since childhood.
“The collaboration was a natural pairing and a dream for me as I’ve been a Swarovski girl. The Swarovski crystals and the glamour of the brand make me feel so happy, and I hope our customers feel the same way when wearing the collection,” Kim tells the publication Elle in their November 6th interview. “Merging jewelry design and ready-to-wear is something I’ve always wanted to do, so pairing Swarovski’s expertise in crystals and SKIMS innovative fabrics made total sense.”
The ceremony additionally poured in more famous faces, including Ashley Graham, Billy Porter, Emma Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lala Anthony, and Madelaine Petsch, who all wore collab pieces from the brands.

The collection dropped on November 2nd, both on SKIMS’ website and Swarovski’s. Pieces include body suits in neutral shades, tank tops, underwear, body jewelry, and leggings. Sizes run from XXS to 4XL, giving shoppers more inclusive fits and comforts.
