The Kardashians: How Kourtney Kardashian planned her pregnancy news
Kourtney Kardashian welcomed her baby boy, Rock Thirteen Barker, on November 1st, making her dream of becoming a mother again come true. While her fourth pregnancy hasn’t been without its challenges, she loved every moment of it. On The Kardashians, Kourtney went into detail on piecing together the pregnancy announcement to let the world know of her indescribable joy.
Once upon a time (okay, not that long ago), Kourtney waved a sign at the LA Blink-182 show In June when she was five months pregnant with a noticeable bump. It was seen across social media and the news the next morning. Her carefully crafted plan went smoothly and succeeded in its purpose.
In this week’s episode, Kourtney gave us the behind-the-scenes of her epic announcement, but before she did that, she broke the news that she was having a baby and was already five months pregnant.
“So, guys, I’m having a baby [in] case you can’t see my bump,” she says, smiling at the cameras.
Her family, including her four sisters, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie, and mom, Kris Jenner, were ecstatic for Kourtney and Travis. The couple stopped doing IVF two months before their May 2022 wedding in Italy and vowed that it was up to God if a baby was meant to be. Apparently so, because Kourtney got pregnant before her 44th birthday in April and kept it a secret until the time was right for her to share.
“I mean, it truly feels like a miracle to have a baby with the love of my life,” Kourtney reveals.

“Today is the blink-182 show, and we have a little something planned,” the mom-of-four shares when she pulls up backstage at the June LA concert with her daughter Penelope Disick and niece North West in tow.
The original plan was to have Kourtney go up on stage and announce it to the crowd, but she confessed that she was shy, so the poster plan, the second option, was implemented.
“In the “All the Small Things” video, there’s a girl with a sign that says, “Travis, I’m Pregnant.” And at every concert, there [are] people with signs that say, “Travis, I’m pregnant.”
Kourtney wrote out the sign and practiced with it before heading to the crowd, an estimated 20,000 people. She waved and jumped up and down with the poster, letting everyone know.
“It was such a fun night,” Kourtney confesses. “Like making the sign, having all my friends there, having our kids, my niece, and all their friends, and all [of] Travis’s friends. And it being at the LA show.”
For those who are hardcore Blink fans (hello), Kourtney’s confident that they’ll appreciate the video tribute and paying homage to the punk-rock band.
“I would say most people got the reference and thought it was iconic. And, yeah, it was just such a fun way to announce our pregnancy to the world. I think it was perfect.”
Rocky Thirteen Barker, the son of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, was born on November 1st, missing his Halloween due date.
