Hello Kitty stops by Khloé Kardashian's home with Stoney Clover Lane goodies for the kids
Khloé Kardashian and the kids received the "purr-fect" guest on October 10th at their home. The legendary Sanrio character is celebrating her 50th anniversary, and she has included the younger members of the Kardashian family in on the fun!
But Hello Kitty's visit had another purpose. She brought along some gifts from Stoney Clover Lane, an accessory company specializing in patches and pastel fashion pieces, in which True Thompson and her cousins Dream Kardashian, Chicago and Saint West, Stormi Webster, and little brother Tatum, were over the moon about. It's one thing to meet the Kitty, but it's double the excitement when unexpected goodies are included.

In a series of photos and videos Khloé shared on her Instagram Stories, the mom highlighted Hello Kitty's visit with the kids. In the sweet snaps and clips, True and her family all ran out the door to hug the character. In one clip, the kids cheered and danced with her and were given goodie bags filled with Hello Kitty merch from Stoney Clover Lane.
The girls were thrilled at each surprise as they revealed customized journals, bags, patches, and other sweet treasures. True was incredibly excited about her new backpack, as it had her name stitched on and a large Hello Kitty patch above it. It's the dream school bag for any child.
"I want to bring it to school tomorrow!" True said in the clip with her new bag. She holds up the pink, zipped-up item for her mother to see. Elsewhere, Chicago is amazed by the travel pouch and handbag adorned with Hello Kitty graphics.
As Hello Kitty turned 50 years old this year, companies are launching exclusive merchandise honoring the pop culture icon. Pottery Barn, Loungefly, and even Sanrio has already dropped some items that are worthy for collectors and fans.
Stoney Clover Lane debuted its Hello Kitty Collection earlier this week. If you want to match like the Kardashian-Jenner kids, the pieces range from $24 to $269. That's a pretty steep price point for an accessory, but the pieces are customized according to the customer's preference.
However, True and her cousins are not fazed by the extravagant cost because they're happy with their gifts from Hello Kitty. And that's what truly matters in a kid's world.
"They are so happy," Khloé stated in one of the clips. "These are some lucky kiddos."
Indeed.
