Khloé Kardashian and her children got the best Christmas a family could ever wish for: a black Labrador puppy! The newest member was given a festive name, too- Peppermint- and the little girl already warmed up the house with her love. And a hefty dose of cuteness!
All True and Tatum wanted for this holiday was a 'real' black Labrador puppy, as per their list they wrote earlier this month. The children emphasized that realness was a must for their gift. Peppermint additionally joins the two cats- Baby Kitty and Gray Kitty, but likely, they'll not be fazed by the pup and will continue their ways.
Khloé shared the happy news in her Instagram Stories on December 25 with a series of photos, saying that she got the puppy from Big Creek Labradors, a highly reputable AKC breeder located in Indiana. According to their website, Big Creek specializes in ensuring the right puppy goes to the right family, and to keep the population down, their dogs only a have one litter annually.

Continuing, the photos showcase Peppermint in a variety of natural poses. She lies among the plush toys while napping and takes a peek at her new forever home. Plus, judging by the size of Peppermint's paws, she's going to grow into a large dog, as Labradors do.
Khloé praises Big Creek fpr Peppermint by stating that:
"I am going to cry! She's the beast in the world!" and "I am not okay right now. This puppy may be my gift because I could cry. @bigcreeklabradors she is the sweetest soul ever!!!!!!"

Peppermint arrives the night after the family's annual Christmas Eve party. For this year's edition, Kendall had the honor of hosting the event at her home. Compared to years past, the 2025 edition was low-key, but still filled with the Kardashian-Jenner fab and glam we all know and love, with a slight overabundance we can't help but love anyway.
Peppermint is also the second black lab in Khloé's life. In 2018, her dog of fourteen years, Gabbana passed away from natural causes. The star reflected on her death in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians at the time.
"[Losing Gabbana] is so sad, but I am so thankful that she chose to go after I was able to hug her and kiss her and say my goodbyes to her.”
I'f you're considering of expanding your family with a fur or feathered baby, it's imperative to do research on the breed(s), be financially responsible, and ensure dedication and love for their lives.
