Kim Kardashian and her 12-year-old daughter, North West, are getting into their Halloween costumes a few days earlier before the holiday. As we all know, the infamous mother-daughter duo loves to dress up in the most elaborate get-ups and then film their results on TikTok, where Kim and North have a joint account.
In Halloweens past, the fans were privileged to see what Kim and her creative daughter have come up with. In 2023, they transformed into the iconic BFF's Cher and Dionne from 1995's Clueless, and the year prior, North was Princess Tiana from Disney's The Princess and the Frog. Each look didn't come cheap, as the Clueless costumes were custom-made by Dior, as was the Tiana gown. It surely wasn't purchased at the Disney Store, but crafted by a designer.
Costs aside, the main thing is to have fun with the holiday and Kim and North seem to have no problem with that. Since content creation is the new normal as opposed to twenty-five years ago, lots of influencers are cashing in on holidays then any other event for recognition.
For this year's spiritual Halloween, Kim and North wanted to try a different and cool new vibe.

In a series of short TikTok videos posted on October 25, the stars revealed their Halloween costumes. North became the comedian, Pink Cardigan, and for the look, she wore an afro wig, an oversized pink sweater, black leggings, and boots. Kim, on the other hand, channeled Pink Cardigan's older brother, Jay Guapõ, as she dressed in blue, black, and white sneakers, curled her hair, and, to complete the transformation, she had fake tattoos and facial hair applied.
Joining into the fun, which included running around the studio and squirting small super soakers, was Kris Jenner. The momager was dressed as Jay Guapõ and Pink Cardigan's mother, Chrissy G. She was dressed in a black sweater, sneakers, white pants, and to top it off, a red wig,
The videos were created for an small act of silliness and childlike aesthetics.
Before the adorable Halloween videos, North stirred up some controversy with the TikToks that featured her and her friends sporting brightly colored hair, temporary facial tattoos, and fake piercings. Many called out to the look, saying that North is twelve and was inappropriate. However, when as a preteen, they're going to experiment with different styles, and much of the time, the phase will be grown out.
Furthermore, Kim took to social media and defended her child's evolving style, calling it "such a non-issue."
