Kim Kardashian is bringing back the popular Beats Pill as another addition to her 2024 Beats x Kim Kardashian collaboration with the electronics company Beats by Dr. Dre. The businesswoman will release the portable Bluetooth speaker on October 18th in two exclusive colors, light gray and dark gray.
In August, Kim first announced her partnership with Beats by releasing SKIMS-inspired Beats Studio Pro headphones. The devices first appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, where Kim and the comedian went into "battle" mode over who had the best hue. In the end, it was Kim's neutral shades that won the audience's favor. Priced at $349, the Beats Studio Pro sets are not by any means inexpensive, but the purchase can be used as an investment since the headphones have superior sound quality and can last a lifetime.
Kim Kardashian introduces the Beats Pill Speaker in the Beats X Kim Kardashian ad
Kim partnered with comedian Ben Marshall in a commercial to promote the launch of the new Beats Pill. The clip highlights Kim's day-to-night agenda, with Marshall being her "Pill assistant" as he carries the speaker, following the reality star wherever she goes.
At the last few seconds of the clip when Kim steps our to soak up some sun, Marshall describes her as a "goddess'' and a privilege.
"The only thing deeper than my knowledge is my devotion to the Goddess I'm so privileged to serve. The world is Kim's, but the soundtrack is all me and my Beats Pill."
According to the Beats website, the Pill is compatible with Android and iOS devices and has 24 hours of battery life. The speaker weighs less than two pounds, making it the perfect accessory for travel and carrying around. Other features include dust and water resistance, USB-C charging, and an updated design to provide "crisp highs and rich mid-range tones."
The packaging is constructed from 100% sustainable fiber that's earth-friendly and produces less waste.
Kim elaborated on working with Beats once again in a press release that was obtained by Kardashian Disn.
"Iām excited to be back with my Beats family and to bring two new colors to an iconic product. Music is a big part of my everyday life, from morning gym sessions to
creative brainstorms, and the Beats Pill makes it that much more beautiful."
Kim's version of the Pill will be available on Friday, October 18th, at 10 AM US EST at select Apple stores worldwide, Amazon, and beatsbydre.com.
